The Ford dealership quoted me $2,300 to fix this.
They wanted to..replace the engine mount
put a new valve cover gasket
new sparks plugs
new wires
new thermastat
new thermastat housing
120k mile check up
Replace the Throttle body.
again...
$2,300
Then there's this guy.
Oh yeah, his name is Jeff.Here in his hand he is holding the perfectly good thermastat housing
only to fing out we just need a $3.00 rubber gasket instead.
He changed the engine mount
He changed the spark plugs and wires
He changed my oil
He fixed the valve cover gasket
He flushed the coolant.
In two weeks he'll put in a new throttle body.
(his hands also stayed pretty clean...haha.)
and the total estimated repairs with Handy-man Jeff as the repairman
